Terms of Use

Terms of Use

Comusik · Effective date: October 21, 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Comusik (“Comusik,” “we,” “us”). They govern your use of comusik.com and the Comusik platform (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What Comusik is

Comusik is a verified business contact network for the music industry. Members search for artists and companies, view verified contact information for the people who represent them, save contacts, send outreach from their own email account, and track deals with their team.

2. Who can use the Service

The Service is for business use by people who are at least 18 years old. You must give accurate information when you sign up and keep it current. If you sign up on behalf of a company, you confirm you have the authority to bind that company to these Terms.

3. Your account

  • You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your login details secure.

  • Accounts are for the person who registered them. Do not share your login with anyone outside your plan’s team seats.

  • Tell us right away if you think your account has been used without your permission.

4. Free trial

New members can start a free trial with limited access, including a cap on contact profile views. You can upgrade to a paid membership at any time, and we may change or end the trial at any time.

5. Membership, pricing, and payment

Full access requires a paid membership. Memberships are billed annually at one flat price for your whole team, with no per-contact fees and no credits. Current plans and prices are shown on our pricing page.

A team plan covers the number of members shown on your plan. The person who buys the plan is the account owner and is responsible for the team’s use of the Service and for these Terms. The owner can add and remove team members, and notes and contacts you choose to share are visible to your teammates.

  • Larger teams and custom needs: for more than 10 team members, tailored contact lists, or licensing, contact us for a custom quote.

  • Billing: you pay the full annual price at the start of each membership year, using the payment method you provide. Payments are handled by our billing provider.

  • Renewal: your membership renews automatically each year at the then-current price unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel your membership from your account.

  • Refunds: memberships are billed annually and fees are non-refundable, except where required by law or where we agree otherwise in writing.

  • Price changes: we may change our prices. Changes apply from your next renewal, and we will give you advance notice before they take effect.

  • Taxes: prices do not include taxes, which you are responsible for where they apply.

  • Late or failed payments: if a payment fails, we may suspend or limit your access until it is resolved.

6. How you may use the Service

You may use the Service for legitimate business outreach, such as reaching decision makers about deals, partnerships, licensing, and similar opportunities.

You agree not to:

  • Resell or redistribute contact data, whether in whole or in part, or share it with people outside your plan. Saving, copying, and exporting contacts is allowed for your own team’s business use only.

  • Scrape, crawl, or bulk download the Service or its data by automated means, or build a competing database or product from it.

  • Send spam or unlawful messages, including unsolicited bulk email, deceptive or misleading content, harassment, or anything that breaks laws such as the CAN-SPAM Act, CASL, or GDPR.

  • Misuse contact information for anything other than professional outreach. This includes stalking, harassing, or contacting people at their personal addresses or phone numbers.

  • Break the Service, including by interfering with security features, probing for weaknesses, or overloading our systems.

  • Impersonate another person or company, or provide false information.

  • Break the law or the rights of others.

We may suspend or end accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice.

7. Contact data

We work to make our contact data accurate and current. It is gathered and verified from publicly available and professionally authorized sources. Business information changes quickly, and we do not guarantee that every contact is complete, accurate, or up to date. If you find an error, tell us and we will review it. You are responsible for how you use the data and for following the privacy and anti-spam laws that apply to your outreach.

People listed in our database can ask to have their information corrected or removed at any time. See our Our Data page and Privacy Policy for how.

8. Email and connected accounts

You can connect your own email account to send outreach and track activity from Comusik. When you do:

  • You send emails from your own account, and you are responsible for their content and for your recipients’ rights.

  • You authorize us to access that account only as needed to send messages and show activity such as sent, replies, opens, and clicks.

  • You can disconnect your account at any time.

How we handle this data is described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Our property and your content

Comusik, the Service, our database, our software, and our branding belong to us and our licensors and are protected by law. Your membership gives you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your business during your paid term. We keep all other rights.

You keep ownership of the notes, saved contacts, and other content you add to the Service. You give us a limited license to host, store, and process that content only to run the Service for you. You confirm you have the right to add it.

10. Suspension and termination

  • By you: you can stop using the Service and cancel your membership at any time. Cancelling stops future renewals, and you keep access until the end of your current paid year.

  • By us: we may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, if your payment fails, or if we are required to by law. If we end your account without cause, we will refund the unused part of your paid term.

  • After termination: your right to use the Service ends, and we handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should continue to apply (such as ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and governing law) stay in effect.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not promise that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that using it will produce replies, deals, or any particular business result.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Comusik and its owners and affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost deals, or lost data, even if we were told they were possible. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

13. Indemnity

You agree to defend and compensate Comusik against claims, losses, and costs (including reasonable legal fees) that come from your misuse of the Service, your outreach, or your breach of these Terms or the law.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that we cannot resolve informally will be handled in the state or federal courts located in California, and you agree to their jurisdiction. Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us and try to resolve the issue in good faith for at least 30 days.

15. Changes to the Service and these Terms

We may add, change, or remove features at any time. If we make a change that significantly reduces what your paid plan includes, we will let you know in advance.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date and notify you by email or within the Service. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

16. General

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and Comusik about the Service. If a part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. If we do not enforce a right, that does not mean we have given it up. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent. We may transfer ours as part of a business sale or reorganization.
